Wyatt Academy is more than a school; we’re a community hub where every student & family is supported. That’s why we offer all students the opportunity to participate in free after-school programming from a variety of organizations.
The YMCA’s after-school program maximizes children’s personal empowerment, exploration and learning.
The YMCA is housed at Wyatt Academy. At 3:15 students are picked up from their classes and go to their designated rooms. Parents have until 6pm to pick up. Vive Wellness is located directly across the street from the main entrance. During dismissal, the staff pick up students at Wyatt. Students have the opportunity to participate in activities such as karate, swimming, and other physical sports. Enrollment is handled directly through the Vive staff.
Open Door’s Academic & Character Development (ACE) after-school program strives to establish credible education, sustained resources and life-altering relationships with at-risk youth, their families and the communities affected by gang culture by providing alternative positive and structured activities, family support and intervention services.

Slow Foods is an exciting after-school program where students not only prepare and learn about new foods but also have the chance to taste them. It’s a fun and engaging way to explore the culinary world! Families can sign up when we have open enrollment. Families get notified via DOJO, our communications application.
Students receive daily homework assistance, snacks, STEM activities, crafts, free play, and Kid’s Fit Go physical activity time. The weekly fee is $55 and CCAP is accepted. The program is state licensed and all staff are CPR/First Aid Certified, background checked, and Mandated Reporter Certified.

ArtistiCO is an engaging after-school program designed to empower students through the joy of dance. Here, they master various dance genres while cultivating discipline and creativity in the arts. This award-winning, after-school program provides specialized instruction for 11 different sports. They focus on creating healthy, transferable life skills by encouraging physical activity and nutrition.

St. Charles Recreation Center provides transportation for students from Wyatt Academy at dismissal time. The students walk together as a group to the center, where they have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports and activities. Additionally, they receive a light snack and have access to homework assistance. Enrollment is handled directly through the St. Charles Rec.
